Fans Petition for Constantine to Continue on a New Network
UPDATE: The petition has proved an enormous success, now at almost 50,000 signatures in support of the show's revival.
After an 11% ratings increase from the recent Arrow episode featuring Constantine, fans have jumped online to try and revive Constantine's short one-year life.
"Save Constantine" has been set up on Change.org, and urges that, in agreement with executive producer David Goyer, NBC was "the wrong channel" for this kind of content.
The petitioners pointed out The CW, EI Rey Network, Yahoo Screen, Netflix, and USA as potential candidates to house the show.
Considering Netflix revived The Killing for a third season after it was axed from AMC, this isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility. The petition itself has, as of writing this post, gathered 13,217 of the target 15,000 signatures.
With Constantine now being canon in the Arrow and larger DC television universe, anything is possible. But maybe fans shouldn't get their hopes up too much.
