'Feed the Beast' to Premiere Following 'Preacher' on AMC
AMC has shifted its premiere date for the David Schimmer and Jim Sturgess-starring drama series Feed the Beast. Originally set for May 31, the pilot will now debut following the second episode of Preacher on June 5.
The series will then jump its second episode two days later into its previously scheduled 10 PM Tuesday slot, following a repeat viewing of episode 1 at 9.
Clearly an attempt to up the viewership, AMC is showing plenty of confidence in Preacher as a starting point, though that show on its own is debuting its pilot following the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead. It's essentially just a constant cycle, but its effective.
