'Fifty Shades Darker' Gets its R-Rating
Fifty Shades Darker will not be toning things down following the first film, and has been confirmed for an R rating by the MPAA for "strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity, and language."
The first film, conversely, got its R rating for "strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior and graphic nudity, and for language."
The film opens February 10, 2017, and stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson reprising their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele from the first film.
