Forest Whitaker to Join Johnny Depp in Tupac-Biggie Film 'Labyrinth'
Forest Whitaker is in talks to join Johnny Depp in the Open Road crime thriller Labyrinth, which will explore the unsolved murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G.
Brad Furman directs the film, which moves into production mid-November. it follows disgraced LAPD detective Russell Pool (Depp), who is unable to solve his biggest case. Two decades later, the case remains open, and a reporter is determined to find out why.
The two begin an uneasy relationship to attempt to finally close the case while they threaten the foundation of the LAPD and attempt to gain redemption for their failing or failed careers.
