Fox Developing 'Zita the Spacegirl' Animated Adaptation
Fox Animation has secured the rights to the Zita the Spacegirl trilogy, written by Ben Hatke, to be produced through Chernin Entertainment.
The project will be overseen by Darlene Caamano of Fox, and writers Morgan Jurgenson and Alex Ankeles will pen the adaptation.
The story follows Zita, a girl who attempts to rescue her best friend after she is abducted by an alien doomsday cult.
