Fox Gives Dan Fogelman's "Pitch" Pilot Order
Kylie Bunbury to star as first woman to play in the major leagues
Fox has picked up baseball drama Pitch, from duo Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer, to pilot. Fogelman is currently executive producing television series Grandfathered and wrote the Steve Carell starring Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Singer served as producer and a writer for season one of TV Land's Younger and performed the same duties on Suddenly Susan. Kylie Bunbury (Under the Dome, The Sitter) headlines the cast and will star as "a young female pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues."
Singer and Fogelman co-wrote the pilot and will serve as executive producers.
