"Friend Request" to be released by Freestyle Releasing
The studio that released God's Not Dead gets into the horror game
Friend Request, a horror-thriller directed by Simon Verhoeven, follows "Laura, a college student who faces unexpected and grave consequences when she unfriends a female loner from her high school on social media. Soon after, she and her friends are stalked by a demonic force."
Alycia Debnam-Carey (The 100, Fear the Walking Dead) will play Laura and joining her are Brit Morgan (True Blood, Supergirl), William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy, The Royals) and Connor Paolo (Gossip Girl, Revenge). Friend Request is scheduled for a fourth quarter 2016 release.
