FX Networks' X-Men Spin-Off 'Legion' to Arrive Early 2017
From the mind of Noah Hawley (Fargo), FX is set to drop its X-Men spin-off story titled Legion in early 2017. Centering on mutant David Haller, who is as crazy as he is powerful, the show will premiere in February.
The series was developed by Hawley in collaboration with X-Men writer and producer Simon Kinberg, and both are executive producing alongside Bryan Singer. Marvel TV's Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory are co-producing.
Dan Stevens is the lead as Haller, a diagnosed schizophrenic who falls for a mutant woman and realizes the voices and visions in his head may be real. Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Katie Asleton, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Bill Irwin, Katie Aselton, Jemaine Clement, and Aubrey Plaza all star.
