FX's X-Men Spinoff 'Legion' Gets Premiere Date
FX has announced that X-Men superhero drama series Legion will premiere on Wednesday, February 8 at 10/9c.
The series hails from Noah Hawley, the mind behind the Fargo anthology series, as well as Marvel TV, and follows mutant David Haller, played by Dan Sevens, who was diagnosed as a schizophrenic but who is actually a mutant with a plethora of different and real identities inside his head.
How tightly the series ties into the film series is unclear, as different opinions have come forward. It does seem likely, however, that it will more or less stand on its own. Though the character's father is Professor X, so there's only so distant it can be.
