Gal Gadot Initially Offered Man of Steel Villain Role
Gal Gadot, starring as Wonder Woman in the upcoming 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' and later in 'Justice League', was initially offered the role of a villain in 'Man of Steel'.
The villain in question was, it seems, Faora, a general under Zod in the attempted takeover of Earth. That role went to Antje Traue.
Gadot was two months pregnant at the time, and so turned down the role. As fate would have it, she since achieved the role of Wonder Woman, a character that may do her career wonders.
A solo 'Wonder Woman' is expected in 2017.
