Game of Thrones Season 6 Set for Late Start
HBO has set its schedule for the winter. Lining up its comedies Girls and Togetherness for their Sunday night original programming schedule from February 14, Martin Scorcese's new drama Vinyl must also be factored in.
With season runs of at least ten weeks, with or without breaks, each series will assumedly run into mid-April at the earliest.
Considering Game of Thrones' usual late March/early April premiere date, it seems very likely the as-yet unnanounced premiere date will be pushed back.
Fans of the show still holding their breath on Jon Snow's fate, and the future of the series, may have to hold it a little longer.
