Gareth Edwards Reveals His 'Rogue One' Cameo and Top 10 Films of All Time
Gareth Edwards joins the modern trend of directors who want to make a minor appearance in their films, and why not? He revealed the cameo last month, stating that he featured in the final scene of Rogue One. Now, that cameo has been discovered.
Edwards plays the rebel soldier who disengages the Tantive IV from Admiral Raddus'' ship, ensuring that Princess Leia and the robots get away with the Death Star plans. Episode VIII director Rian Johnson also has a minor cameo in the film.
Recently, Edwards has given his favourite films of all time, which come from the Sight and Sound poll from 2012 that's been doing the rounds lately.
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) Stanley Kubrick
Apocalypse Now (1979) Francis Ford Coppola
Baraka (1992) Ron Fricke
Graduate, The (1967) Mike Nichols
It’s a Wonderful Life (1947) Frank Capra
Jaws (1975) Steven Spielberg
Reservoir Dogs (1991) Quentin Tarantino
Star Wars (1977) George Lucas
Taxi Driver (1976) Martin Scorsese
Terminator, The (1984) James Cameron
It's a pretty impressive list, to say the least. Rogue One is out now for anyone who hasn't actually seen it yet. Though, looking at its box office efforts, that list would be short.
