Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington join Marvel's 'Eternals'
Gemma Chan will play Sersi. Kit Harrington will be playing Dane Whitman also known as Black Knight. Marvel is rounding out The Eternals cast.
On top of Gemma Chan and Kit Harrington joining the cast of The Eternals. The rest of the cast includes Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and Angelina Jolie as Thena. Barry Keoghan will also play Druig, who is a villain. Druig is part of the plans for the Eternals franchise.
Gemma Chan joining this franchise in a larger role could point to her character Sersi taking a major role within the new phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the comics, Sersi becomes an Avenger.
Well, the cast is stacked. The Eternals will be directed by Chloe Zhao. Coming from a script by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo.
The Eternals arrives in theaters on November 6, 2020.
