'Gods of Egypt' Tops Disc Charts to Knock 'Deadpool' of its Perch
Lionsgate's Gods of Egypt has taken top spot from Deadpool on both the combined Blu-ray and and DVD disc sales chart and the solo Blu-ray Disc sales chart. After three weeks on top, Deadpool has to settle for second place.
With a budget of $140 million, Gods of Egypt grossed just $31.1 million in the U.S., though went on to gross more than $142 million worldwide despite criticisms of whitewashing its cast.
New release Pride and Prejudice and Zombies came in at third while Triple 9 sits sixth this week.
