'Goosebumps' Sequel is Coming in 2018
Goosebumps impressed many when it landed on the big screen back in 2015. The PG family film offered less scares and more thrills, and now its sequel has a release date. Goosebumps 2 was confirmed back in April last year, and now the film has an official release date.
Opening on January 26, 2018, Rob Letterman is returning to direct following his success on the first film, and Darren Lemke will return to pen the new script. While it's a strange slot for a film that saw huge success, tripling its budget during its Halloween 2015 run, there's every chance it could get pushed to a surprisingly empty October time period for Sony.
No cast has been announced just yet. Expect Jack Black to return for the film, who impressed as the lead character, though it's all just speculation at this point.
