Harrison Ford Remembers Carrie Fisher: "One-of-a-kind... Brilliant, Original"
Harrison Ford has remembered his Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher in a statement that highlights his feelings on a woman who lived her life, as he puts it, "bravely."
“Carrie was one-of-a-kind…brilliant, original,” Ford said in a statement. “Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life, bravely.” He went on to sent out his thoughts to her mother, Debby Reynolds, daughter, Billie Lourd, and brother, Todd Fisher. "We will all miss her."
Fisher had recently revealed a three-month affair between the two during the filming on the first Star Wars film, when she was just 19 and he 33. When she told the actor that she was going to publish the affair in her memoir, The Princess Diarist, she had felt guilty due to him being "incredibly private."
Fisher died this morning after suffering a heart attack on Friday at the tail-end of a flight from London to Los Angeles.. Reiterating Harrison Ford's words, she will be missed.
