Helen Mirren Joins the Cast of 'Fast 8'
Helen Mirren is finalising a deal that will see her join Fast and Furious 8. The news comes via Elle magazine and Variety has learned from sources that the deal is almost complete.
Mirren joins Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood as newcomers to the franchise, which sees an ensemble of Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and Tyrese Gibson returning.
Mirren has appeared in critically acclaimed films in equally acclaimed performances in Woman in Gold and Trumbo. She recently wrapped production on Collateral Beauty with Will Smith.
