Henry Cavill joins Millie Bobby Brown in Legendary's 'Enola Holmes'
Cavill and Brown will play the most adorable brother and sister duo - maybe ever!
Henry Cavill has signed a deal to co-star along with Millie Bobby Brown and Helena Bonham Carter in Legendary Entertainment’s film based on Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mystery series.
Cavill is set to play the great detective Sherlock Holmes, and more notably, the older brother to Brown’s titular character Enola Holmes.
Legendary’s film will adapt source material from Springer’s six published books revolving around mysteries investigated by Enola, and will include characters established in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock canon. Fleabag’s Harry Bradbeer will direct from a script written by Jack Thorne that centers on a missing teen whose father has been murdered.
In what was once thought of as an elaborate scheme to set up a grand cross-over between Enola and her handsome, older brother from a different Sherlock universe (see RDJ), it now appears our wishes have partly come true. And I can’t say Cavill’s casting disappoints.
Production is expected to begin this Summer.
