Here's One Character That Nearly Made it into 'Suicide Squad'
There's lots of fun new information trickling out from behind the scenes on Suicide Squad, and they're not spoilers for the film (well, one is).
Director David Ayer revealed on Twitter that one character he initially wanted for the film was King Shark, a savage villain who made his debut in the 1990s. “So, one of the characters I was thinking about for the squad line-up was King Shark, but we realized it would take a lot of work - a lot of CG work.”
Ayer described not wanting to have a completely CGI character. In the end, Killer Croc was the chosen replacement. "We actually ended up going with Killer Croc who turned out to be the right guy for the job.”
