Holly Hunter to Star in HBO Drama from Alan Ball
Award-winning actress Holly Hunter will lead the way in HBO's upcoming Alan Ball drama series. The multi-racial family drama is yet to get a title, but Variety brings the news that Hunter will play a therapist-turned-lawyer in the series.
She plays Audrey Black, and she is also the wife to philosophy professor Greg, who has yet to be cast, and who is the matriarch of the Black-Bishop family. The two decide to adopt children from Vietnam, Somalia, and Columbia before having their own children in their forties.
The drama got a straight-to-order series on HBO in July, the first project in Ball's two year overall deal extension.
