'Homeland' to Stream on Hulu in New Deal with Fox
Hulu has secured U.S. subscription rights to all past and future seasons of Showtime's terrorism drama Homeland under a multi-year deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.
Commencing on Monday, the first four seasons are available to watch for subscribers, with seasons following to become available at some point in the future. No release is set for season 5, which aired last year.
Hulu offers Showtime's entire slate for an additional $8.99 per month. Showtime are however maintaining, somewhat, their reluctance to outsource their shows to SOD distributors, offering only older programs in the deals.
“On the heels of another critically acclaimed season and multiple Emmy nominations, ‘Homeland’ is the perfect addition to Hulu’s growing library of premium exclusive programming,” said Craig Erwich, Hulu’s senior VP and head of content.
