Hulu Lands Classic Disney Movies in New Catalog Licensing Deal
Hulu and Disney have reached a new licensing deal, where Hulu gains exclusive streaming rights to Pocahontas, Mulan, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, as well us a number of other Disney catalog titles non-exclusively.
The first titles will be added to the library this week, and the coming months will see films like Step Up, Lilo & Stitch, and The Princess and the Frog go up for Hulu subscribers.
None of the films, however, will be newer ones, as Netflix and Disney have a continuing deal put in place back in 2012, that sees new theatrical releases hit Netflix exclusively following their theatrical runs.
