Ian Gomez joins 'Supergirl' Season 2 as Snapper Carr
Supergirl season 2, courtesy of The CW, has added another DC Comics character to its rankings. Ian Gomez has been cast in a recurring role as Snapper Carr, who will be the new Editor in Chief of CatCo Magazine on the show.
Snapper debuted in the 60's, designed as a "hip" teen intended as someone relatable for the young audiences. The character became an honorary member of the Justice League of America despite a complete lack of superpowers or ability.
Gomez recently appeared as part of the returning cast for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and is best known for his lead role in Cougar Town. Season 2 of Supergirl premieres October 10.
