Ireland Shoot Wraps for 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'
Star Wars: Episode VIII has wrapped shooting in Ireland, the site of Rey and Luke Skywalker's closing scene from The Force Awakens. The film now is likely to head back to its studios outside London as they work toward completion on production.
So, if there's any kind of demolition that goes on at the fabled Jedi temple, it's all over and done with now. There'll be a year and a half or so of post-production as the rest of us sit in wait for the release of the film on December 15, 2017.
Hopefully, some news on the film comes out of Star Wars Celebration Europe, though whether or not we'll get a title is completely up in the air as the festivities look set to spotlight Rogue One.
