Is this 'Batman v Superman' Character Set to Make an Appearance in 'Suicide Squad'?

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell Warning. Spoilers for the Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition follow.

Comicbook.com is reporting that, via an early look at the extended cut of Batman v Superman, a recent theory has plenty of new evidence via the final, extended sequence between Batman and Lex Luthor.

In the longer version of the final scene, Luthor reveals that he knows who Batman really is, though his attempt to us it against the caped crusader backfires. This is followed by Batman making what by any other rendition of the character could be considered a threat. For this one, though, it seems very real:

"We have hospitals that treat the mentally ill with compassion," Batman assures the villain, then turns it around, saying, "But that’s not where you’re going. I’ve arranged to have you transferred to Arkham Asylum in Gotham. I still have some friends there. And they're expecting you."

Speculation will spring forward from this that Lex may well have a role, however small, to play in Suicide Squad, given that he'll be in Gotham, in Arkham Asylum, at the same time that Harley Quinn and co. are coming out to play.
