Jackie Earle Haley Joins 'Alita: Battle Angel'
Jackie Earle Haley has joined James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez's upcoming adaptation, Alita: Battle Angel.
THR reports that details are scarce for Haley's character, though he is reportedly playing a monstrous, cyborg villain, and will require a lot of CG and green screen for the role.
Maze Runner actress Rosa Salazar is set for the role of Alita, while Christoph Waltz also plays a role. Little else has been revealed so far, but the cast is exceptional.
The film adapts the popular cyberpunk manga created in 1990 by Yukito Kishiro. It follows a broken down cyborg who is put together by a cybernetics doctor.
