James Wan Looking at Seaside Locations for 'Aquaman'
James Wan recently shared a photo of a boat docked outside of a small town, with the caption "if casting is half of your directing, then location is half your photography."
There's not really much to go on in terms of where the photo takes place, but Wan is clearly excited and happy with how his location scout is going.
In a recent interview, Wan said "I kind of don't want to give too much away but know this: The spirit that I'm going for is like a classic sort of swashbuckling action adventure, sort of high seas adventure story," with a Raiders of the Lost Ark type of vibe.
"I think Amber [Heard] and Jason Momoa, in their moments in Justice League, [are] going to give the rest of the world a flavor of what their own standalone movie could be," Wan explained. "And that is just scratching the surface of what I plan to do."
