Jared Harris Cast in AMC Anthology Series 'The Terror'
Jared Harris of Mad Men and The Crown fame has been cast in AMC's upcoming anthology drama series The Terror, which is based on the bestselling 2007 novel by Dan Simmons.
The series will comprise of a ten-episode first season with a premiere of 2017. Ciaran Hinds, Paul Ready, and Adam Nagaitis have also joined the cast.
The series' showrunning duties will be shared by Soo Hugh and David Kajganich, who also writes. The series is set in 1847, when a Royal Navy expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage is attacked by a mysterious predator.
