Jason Ritter Cast in Amazon Legal Drama Series 'Goliath'
Parenthood star Jason Ritter has joined Amazon's Goliath, in which he'll play Joe Farley, an FBI special agent who is described as wry but savvy.
Goliath, a legal drama, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 14. It stars Billy Bob Thornton and William Hurt, as well as Olivia Thirlby, Maria Bello, Molly Parker, Nina Arianda and Tania Raymonde.
Written by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro, the series is executive produced by Kelley, Shapiro, Ross Fineman, Larry Trilling, and David Semel.
It follows a David vs. Goliath battle fought in the 21st century American legal system. It's a down-and-out lawyer (Thornton) seeking redemption in a world where justice is angled toward the rich and powerful.
