Jesse Eisenberg to Create, Write and Direct TV Series Based on His Own Book of Short Stories
Jesse Eisenberg is all set to to create, write and direct a new television series based on his own book of short stories, titled Bream Gives Me Hiccups. The series will begin shooting in New York with cast members Parker Posey, Victor Rasuk and Elliot Smith.
Smith stars as a quiet child of divorce whose mother (Posey) is having trouble adjusting to her new life. A lunchtime, the boy, Oscar, retreats to the closet of the school janitor (Rasuk) to write reviews of the restaurants his mother takes him to as a sort of diary.
Eisenberg's next appearance is in Woody Allen's Cafe Society, opening at Cannes in two days.
