J.J. Abrams Reveals the Star Wars Anthology Film He'd Like to See
J.J. Abrams, who directed the revival of the Star Wars franchise, has revealed the anthology film he'd like to see from Disney's massive new foundation on the timeless saga.
Speaking with Collider during a press day for Star Trek Beyond, Abrams gave his praise for Kathleen Kennedy. “I gotta say Kathy Kennedy, who’s running it all, she seems to be pushing all the right buttons. There isn’t something that I’d love to see—I guess the one thing I would say is there’s a Knights of Ren story that I think would be pretty cool to tell.”
Probably a pretty predictable route, given the group originated in the film he himself helmed. Nevertheless, the prospect sounds interesting, given what little we know about the group.
It's important to note now that, while Abrams stays on the franchise as a producer, his say is ultimately not much to go on regarding the future of the franchise. Still, it's an interesting prospect.
