Jodie Foster to Direct a Season 4 Episode of 'Black Mirror' Starring Rosemarie DeWitt
Jodie Foster will direct a season four episode of Black Mirror for Netflix, and the episode in question will star Rosemarie DeWitt. The new season will begin production later this year and will premiere in 2017.
Last year's 12-episode order of the show saw it split between two seasons. The most recent year debuts all six episodes Friday, and another six will premiere next year. Season 3 features stars such as Jon Hamm, Hayley Atwell, Domhnall Gleeson, and Jessica Findlay-Brown.
The anthology series tells dark stories that look at the impact of advanced technoogy in the near future. “I’ve always been a fan of one-off, quirky, weird stories you’d see on ‘The Twilight Zone’ or ‘Tales of the Unexpected,’” series writer Charlie Brooker recently told Variety.
