Joe Manganiello Cast as Deathstroke for Batman's Solo Film
With Deathstroke to play a role in Ben Affleck's solo Batman outing, Joe Manganiello of True Blood fame has been confirmed as the man to put on the mask.
We can presume that Deathstroke is the big bad in the upcoming film, although there has been no confirmation on that just yet. It's an exciting prospect given that many of us would have speculated one of the usual suspects to antagonise the caped hero.
The character of Deathstroke was created in 1980. He's essentially a super soldier thanks to a government-issued super serum. He becomes a killer-for-hire, and initially played the villain to the Teen Titans before branching out.
