Jon Hamm's Name Misspelt on his Golden Globe Trophy
Despite having six nominations resulting in two wins, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association failed to spell Mad Men star Jon Hamm's name correctly on his Golden Globe statue this year.
Speaking with Vanity Fair at Sundance Film Festival, Hamm said that when his trophy showed up at his home, the name was spelt 'John' rather than 'Jon'.
"I was like, 'Oh man. Uh, guys, there's no 'H'." Hamm is currently serving as a juror for Sundance, and he joked that "There should be a jury for best scarf and best hat. I feel like we could get, like, the Mumford and Sons here and they all could judge it and it could be the suspenders and facial hair run off."
Clearly, the mishap didn't put out his light mood.
