Josh Brolin Will Play Cable in 'Deadpool 2'
Well this came out of nowhere. Not even the movie insiders predicted this one. Josh Brolin who plays Thanos, the big villain, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is joining the cast of Deadpool 2 as Cable.
The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Brolin has a four movie deal to play Cable in Fox's X-Men Universe. He will be appearing in Deadpool 2 and will most likely be appearing in the X-Force film.
The move of casting Brolin comes as a surprise as Fox was eyeing Michael Shannon or Stranger Things star Michael Harbour to play the role.
So there you have it. Josh Brolin plays the "Mad Titan" Thanos in the MCU, and he also plays Cable in the X-Men Universe. What a wild time to be a comic book fan.
Josh Brolin will first appear in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War.
