Julianne Moore In Talks To Join "Kingsman 2"
The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively reported that Julianne Moore is in talks to join Kingsman 2 as the film's villain. No character details have been revealed but if a deal is made Moore will definitely be playing the big bad of the movie.
Kingsman: The Secret Service was a tongue in cheek homage to spy movies (most notably the James Bond franchise) directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Colin Firth and breakout star Taron Egerton. Both Vaughn and Egerton are returning for the sequel. MINOR SPOILER: There were discussions about bringing Firth's character back (who died in the first movie) but those discussions seemed to have been tabled at this time as his inclusion wouldn't further the story.
Production will start in May to prepare for a summer shoot. Kingsman 2 is scheduled for a June 16, 2017 release.
