Justice League Production to Kick Off in April
With the kickstarter for Justice League hitting cinemas on March 25, no time is going to be wasted as filming for Justice League intends to kick off the following month in April.
Despite reports from a couple of sources that suggest Warner Bros. is concerned about the future of their expanded universe given initial reactions to Snyder's Superhero bout, it seems no time is going to be lost in their effort to power ahead toward the hopefully bright future of the DC world.
Snyder and WB both confirmed the April 11 launch date for production to EW, while Snyder also spoke with EW, suggesting that the task ahead was easier said than done:
"The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing. It was a little bit of an 'about time' moment, and I don't blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it's a long time coming.
"But I do feel like it's a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, 'Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.' But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist."
Justice League Part One opens November 17, 2017.
