Kate McKinnon Joins Netflix's Revival of 'Magic School Bus'
Kate McKinnon of Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters fame has been cast as Ms. Fizzle, the bus driver in the upcoming Netflix series The Magic School Bus Rides Again.
The show is a revival of the 1990s animated series The Magic School Bus, which aired on PBS. Lily Tomlin voiced the character in the original series, which was an award nominee on various occasions. The revival has been in development since 2014 as a joint production between the streaming giant and Scholastic Media.
The news came as part of a daylong event in New York City from Netflix, in which it announced that JonBenet will premiere on April 28. Anne of Green Gables will arrive on May 12 for its eight-episode series.
