Katie Cassidy Made Series Regular Across The Arrowverse
Arrow's Katie Cassidy is the latest Arrowverse actor to sign a deal where her character will appear in the CW's multiple superhero shows; specifically Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Cassidy's deal doesn't include appearances on Supergirl.
Stephen Amell revealed in an interview at a Nerd HQ panel that Cassidy's Laurel Lance will appear in Arrow's season five premiere.
The possibilities of Cassidy appearing across the Arrowverse is intriguing. Presumably, we'll only see her in flashbacks on Arrow but will we see her as Black Siren in season three of The Flash? Could the flashpoint storyline that will happen on The Flash make it that Laurel became a district attorney in Central City instead of Starling City? She could also easily appear in Legends of Tomorrow due to time travel. We'll just have to wait and see.
The Flash returns October 4th, Arrow returns the following night and Legends of Tomorrow returns October 13th. All three shows air at 8pm eastern on the CW.
