Keean Johnson Joins James Cameron's 'Alita: Battle Angel'
Keean Johnson (Nashville) is the last actor to join James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez's Alita: Battle Angel. Johnson plays Hugo, who is described as "a young man who teaches Alita how to play a gladiator-style game called Motorball but who also has a secret side job stealing robot parts."
The film is adapted from the manga series of the same name, which takes place in a futuristic dystopia, where cybermedic expert Daisuke Ido finds the head and chest of a female cyborg and revives her.
She returns which much of her memory lost, and his dubbed Alita by Ido, named after his deceased cat.
