Keegan-Michael Key Joins Shane Black's 'The Predator' Reboot
The Predator has added another new cast member to its list, with Keegan-Michael Key joining onto the franchise reboot. Shane Black is directing the film, and Key is set to play a man who teams up with characters played by Boyd Holbrook and Trevante Rhodes to battle the aliens.
While Holbrook and Rhodes are playing Marines and Olivia Munn is playing a scientist, reportedly, Key's background is not clear at this stage. Though, his role in Key & Peele suggests that his role may just be to bring some levity to the affair.
The cast of the film continues to improve, and with Shane Black making the jump from 2016s The Nice Guys to The Predator, there are going to be a lot of curious eyes on this pic. While we don't know anything about the film just yet, it had previously been falsely reported that it would be taking place in the suburbs. This was debunked a few months ago, however THR are now reporting that it will take place in suburbia. So who knows at this stage.
