Kiersey Clemons Cast as Iris West in the Upcoming 'The Flash' DCEU Film
Variety is reporting that director Rick Famuyiwa has found his Iris West for the upcoming DCEU solo film for The Flash. Dope star Kiersey Clemons joins the film in the role currently occupied on the TV series by Candice Patton.
While The CW's relationship between Barry Allen and Iris West falls short of relationship commitment, we can expect that will be different in the film. Clemons is also popular for her role in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, and has recently signed on for the Flatliners remake.
The Flash is not due out until 2018. There'll be more to come on the casting front before production starts on the film.
