Kit Harrington Finally Confirms His Return to the Set of Game of Thrones
There's been plenty of whispers, hints, allusions and the like regarding Jon Snow's ultimate fate after his shocking demise at the end of Game of Thrones' fifth season. The secret hasn't been kept well, and plenty of people are comfortable in assuming he'll make a return in some aspect.
Finally, actor Kit Harrington has taken it upon himself to go on the record, admitting that he will be back in season 5. Though his comments don't suggest he's totally surrendered to an honest campaign:
"Look, I'm not on the show any more. I'm definitely not in the new series," Harrington said when Time Out London quizzed him on the topic. Eventually, he folded. "I filmed some scenes of me being dead... it's some of my best work." His final hint is that he knows "how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"
Usually, the show gets on with it. Someone dies and that's that. Jon Snow has been central to this season's marketing campaign, which is somewhat concerning if that is what they're hanging their build-up to the series going forward on. Though, considering they're venturing into new territory, it may just be means of avoiding revealing absolutely anything for the new season.
Game of Thrones returns April 24.
