'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Home Release Dates Announced
On Tuesday, Disney and Lucasfilm announced Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit the digital biosphere (in HD and 4K Ultra HD) on March 13, and retail shelves (Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and On-Demand) on March 27.
Lucasfilm also detailed the packaging options for the Multi-screen Edition offered in Blu-ray and Digital copy and the 4K Ultra HD Collector’s Edition (4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and a Digital copy). Best Buy will offer two steelbook exclusives, one in 4K Ultra HD, and the second formatted for Blu-ray and Digital, while Target will offer a limited Blu-ray and Digital collectable which includes an exclusive 40 page gallery book.
Regardless of which packaging option floats your boat, all of them will come loaded with bonus features, including 14 deleted scenes and a special featurette "The Director and the Jedi" where writer-director Rian Johnson takes fans behind the scenes in his "intimate and personal journey" through The Last Jedi's production. I don't know about you but I'm hankering for that "Andy Serkis Live!" feature.
