Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy Says The Next 10 Years of 'Star Wars' Films Are Planned Out
With The Last Jedi getting closer and closer. This announcement comes at a unique time.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy recently revealed that Star Wars would continue on past Episode IX. Meaning we will be getting more "Skywalker saga" films. This (possibly) meaning the adventures of Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Kylo Ren will continue past Episode IX. This also means we will be seeing a lot more Star Wars Stories in the upcoming years.
Lucasfilm is planning the next adventures in the Star Wars franchise. Kennedy also mentions taking the audience to places they haven't been yet. Earlier this year Disney CEO Bob Iger said Star Wars would continue on for the next 15 years. Both statements by Iger and Kennedy signal that we will see a lot more Star Wars in the future.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017.
