"Lucha Underground" Renewed For Season Three

rodneyholley Lucha Underground, the lucha libre wrestling series, has received a season three renewal from the El Rey Network.

Production for season three will take place in Boyle Heights (Los Angeles), where the previous two seasons have filmed. The hour-long wrestling-drama hybrid features big names like Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero as well as some of the best talent from Lucha Libre AAA.

Season two premiered last Wednesday (Jan. 27) & season three will premiere sometime in 2017. Lucha Underground airs Wednesdays at 8pm eastern on the El Rey Network & can also be streamed on Sling TV.
