It goes without saying Rain Man is Cruise’s leap into super stardom. Still to this day, Rain Man is undeniably Cruise’s most grueling test as an actor. He passed with flying colors, holding his own against the accomplished, Dustin Hoffman. Rain Man will always be Cruise’s blue-ribbon film.
