Maisie Richardson-Sellers joins DC's Legends of Tomorrow as the New Vixen
Actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers joins Legends of Tomorrow as the new Vixen, given that this version of Vixen is the grandaughter of the Vixen seen on Arrow and animated series on The CW Seed played by Megalyn Echikunwoke.
"Amaya Jiwe – better known as Vixen – is the newest superhero to board the Waverider and join the ranks of the Legends of Tomorrow," says The CW and WBTV's official character description. "Like her granddaughter, Mari McCabe, Amaya’s powers are derived from the mysterious Tantu Totem, which allows her to magically access the abilities of animals."
Richardson-Sellers has appeared in The CW's The Originals, and played a role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She will be a series regular, joining the team of Legends after three characters departed the team in various ways.
The series returns October 13, 2016.
