Marc Maron to Star in 'Orange in the New Black' Creator's New Series, 'G.L.O.W.'
Marc Maron will co-star opposite Alison Brie in the upcoming netflix series, G.L.O.W. The 10 episode straight-to-series comedy is executive produced by Jenji Kohan, who is behind one of Netflix's biggest hits, Orange is the New Black.
Inspired by the true story of the 1980s female wrestling league, the series is created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. It is the story of Ruth (Brie), who is an out of work and struggling actress who finds wrestling as her one last chance to live out her dreams.
Standing for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, G.L.O.W. is set to be a fascinating, Reagan-era period comedy. Maron has guest starred in HBO's Girls and FX's Louie.
