Margot Robbie to Star in Female-Led Robin Hood Film 'Marian'
Margot Robbie has signed on for Sony Pictures; Marian, which will tell an original story inspired by the Robin Hood legend and will see Marian, following the death of Robin Hood, taking his place to lead the Merry Men and continue to rob from the rich and give to the poor.
Pete Barry has penned the script, and Donald De Line and Amy Pascale are producing alongside Rock Shank. Robbie may produce through LuckyChap Entertainment, though that isn't confirmed at this stage.
Lionsgate has their own Robin Hood film on the cards, which has already begun shooting and stars Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx.
